Ryan Gunn has worked in various marketing roles since 2011. Ryan started their career as a Marketing Intern at SMG Richmond in 2011. In 2013, they worked as a Writing Mentor for the Middle East Partnership Initiative and as a Layout + Design Editor for Tupelo Press, where they helped launch the online edition of Tupelo Quarterly magazine. Ryan then worked as a Marketing Consultant for The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre in 2015, followed by an Inbound Marketing Account Executive role at Boyle Public Affairs in 2016. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at WealthForge, first as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager and then as a Marketing Manager. Most recently, they have been working as a Sr. Marketing Operations Consultant at Aptitude 8 since 2022.

Ryan Gunn has a comprehensive education history. Ryan attended Collegiate School from 2005-2009 and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English - Creative Writing from Virginia Tech from 2009-2012. Ryan subsequently earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business from 2014-2016. In addition, Gunn has obtained several certifications, such as HubSpot Sales Software from HubSpot in December 2022, ClickUp Novice from ClickUp in November 2022, and Hubspot Top 5 - 1st Place Winner from Sprocketeer in November 2022. Ryan also holds certifications in SEO Fundamentals from SEMrush (October 2018), Email Marketing Certification from HubSpot (February 2018), Content Marketing Certification from HubSpot (November 2017), and Inbound Certification from HubSpot (February 2017).
