Lewis Weanie

Lewis Weanie has extensive experience in the field of data engineering, starting as an Accountants Assistant at M&S Accountancy and Taxation LLP in 2010. Lewis then worked as a Sales Advisor at Debenhams in 2013, followed by a brief role as a Fraud Advisor at Lloyds Banking Group in 2014. Later that year, they joined FDM Group as an IT Consultant, where they were trained and contracted out to work as an Informatica Architect/ETL Developer at ETL Factory. Subsequently, they transitioned to ETL Factory directly as an Informatica Architect/ETL Developer. Moving on, Lewis served as a Data Engineer at NatWest Group, where they held various roles, including Lead Data Sourcing Engineer, Lead ETL Developer, and Data Engineer - Big Data Hadoop. Following this, they were a Data Engineer at Sky before assuming the position of Lead Data Engineer at Aptitude Global in 2021. Throughout their career, Lewis gained expertise in ETL development, informatica, data warehousing, Hadoop, and Spark/Python.

Lewis Weanie completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Queen Anne High School from 2004 to 2009. In addition, Lewis obtained certifications in IBM InfoSphere Data Replication and ISTQB-CTFL in 2014 and 2022, respectively.
