Mike Zellen currently serves as Vice President and General Counsel for Advanced Safety and User Experience (AS&UX) and the Americas at Aptiv, a position held since September 2021. Prior to this role, Zellen was employed at General Motors from October 2016 to August 2021, where responsibilities included Senior Counsel for Global Innovation and Counsel for Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. Zellen's earlier experience at Amazon from July 2010 to August 2016 involved several senior legal positions, including Senior Corporate Counsel for Marketplace, where oversight included legal support for a vast e-commerce business. Additional roles at Amazon included support for Transportation and Supply Chain initiatives and Operations. Zellen's legal career began as an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP between October 2007 and June 2010 and includes earlier experience as a Production Planner/Business Analyst at Intel Corporation. Zellen holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, along with educational experiences at Corvinus University of Budapest and Kalamazoo College.
