Jillian McLellan, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Jillian began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at San Francisco State University in 2007, where they worked until 2009. Following that, in 2009, they joined Seattle Pacific University as a Graduate Research Assistant and served until 2013. During this time, they also worked as a Research Analyst Intern at Ergometrics in 2011. In 2013, Jillian joined Amazon as a Talent Assessment Intern for a year.
In 2014, Jillian joined T-Mobile as a Program Manager, Talent Selection and remained in that role for a few months. Later in 2014, they joined APTMetrics as a Consultant and worked their way up to Vice President, Executive Assessment, their current position. Throughout their tenure at APTMetrics, they have held roles including Associate Practice Area Leader, Executive Assessment; Director, Executive Assessment; Associate Director; Project Manager; Senior Consultant; and Consultant.
Jillian McLellan, Ph.D. began their education by earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Pacific Lutheran University in 2007. Jillian then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University, completing it in 2009. Building on their knowledge, they enrolled at Seattle Pacific University where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in I/O Psychology in 2011. Jillian further specialized in their field by completing their Ph.D. in I/O Psychology from the same institution in 2014.
