Cate Darlington

Cate Darlington has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cate began their career as a Media Assistant at The Rosen Group / Rosen Media Arts Management, where they managed production for various video projects. Cate then worked as a General and Political News Assistant at Reuters News Agency, where they organized news stories and transmitted them to online media clients. Cate later joined Connections Education as an Assistant Director of Editorial, overseeing the accessibility, editorial, content editing, and quality assurance teams. Cate also managed the processes for new and existing curriculum content.

In 2016, Cate became the Director of Editorial, Quality Assurance, and Accessibility at Pearson Online & Blended Learning. In this role, they managed a large team and coordinated the hiring of independent contractors. Cate also guided team members in creating process and training documentation to ensure high-quality products for thousands of students nationwide.

Most recently, Cate worked at Maryland Public Television as a Copyright/Permissions/Copy Editor. In this position, they collaborated with a team to develop, edit, and secure graphics and video permissions for various online or hybrid courses for the Maryland State Department of Education.
