Dongchen Yuan

Dongchen Yuan's work experience begins in 2019 as a Data Scientist at Thinknear by Telenav. From May to August 2019, they worked in this role. In 2020, Dongchen joined Amgen as a Data Engineer from May to August. Later in 2020, they worked at Shell Asset Management Company B.V. on the Cornell Capstone Project, where they focused on Artificial Intelligence and Quantitative Research. They utilized tree-based Machine Learning methods to predict stock returns and constructed various strategies. From January to November 2021, Dongchen worked as an Analyst in Data Engineering at Goldman Sachs. Currently, they are employed at AQR Capital Management as a Portfolio Implementation Analyst, starting in November 2021.

Dongchen Yuan's education history starts with the completion of a High School Diploma at Montverde Academy from 2012 to 2015, where they focused on STEM subjects. Following this, they attended UCLA from 2015 to 2018 and received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Economics with a specialization in computing. Building on their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Financial Engineering at Cornell University from 2019 to 2020.
