Karen Shapiro

Karen Shapiro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in talent acquisition and corporate recruitment. Currently serving as a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter at AQUA Dermatology and a Corporate Recruiter at Water's Edge Dermatology since March 2022, Karen has previous recruitment experience at BeneLynk and played a sales consulting role at Weatherby Healthcare. Additionally, Karen held managerial and sales positions at Club Pilates Boca South and BondiBand, and demonstrated leadership as President of Open The Wall, a charitable initiative developed in collaboration with Alejandro Mendoza to support children with special medical conditions. Karen's career began in account management at Teligent and Orange Technologies, followed by a Vice President role at Olshen Overseas, Inc. A graduate of Lesley University with a BS in Marketing, Karen's educational background is complemented by a high school diploma from Mamaroneck High School.
