Somnath Mukherjee

Somnath Mukherjee is a Senior Controls Engineer at Aquagga Inc. since April 2023, where engineering of Steed system PLC ladder logic and PIDs has been accomplished using AutomationDirect (AD) P2000. Previously, Somnath was a team member for the backend in the capstone project at ZeroAvia, where a web tool for testing environmental conditions for airborne equipment was designed. Somnath's experience at TATA Power spans from July 2011 to April 2021 in various roles, including Assistant Manager (Lead Engineer II) and Executive (Lead Engineer-III) in Instrumentation and Control at Trombay Thermal Power Plant and Coastal Gujarat Power Limited, respectively. Somnath holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology.
