Uri Katz

Uri Katz is an NLP PhD candidate at Bar-Ilan University, with extensive experience as an NLP research scientist at Aquant since April 2018, where URI leads the design and development of advanced NLP capabilities and implements end-to-end solutions using state-of-the-art deep learning and classical machine learning methods. URI previously worked as a data scientist at HIRO Media, focusing on programmatic video advertising, and as a data analyst at Signals Group. With a background in education, URI served as a lecturer at the Davidson Institute of Science Education, presenting topics on neuroscience to high-school students. Education credentials include a Master's in NLP and Statistics from Tel Aviv University, a Master's in Computational Neuroscience from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and a Bachelor's in Biology from Tel Aviv University.
