Arnoud van Houten

Arnoud van Houten has a strong background in technology and innovation. Arnoud started their career at IBM, where they worked as a Project Engineer and Business Manager. During their time at IBM, they successfully developed and managed a new Unix system Test & Repair-line.

After IBM, Arnoud worked as an IT & Telecom Consultant/Project Manager at Status Networks. Arnoud then joined Vodafone as an R&D New Business Manager, where they established the R&D department and provided executive advisory on various technologies.

Arnoud later founded mAdch Innovations, a Telecom Wireless Application Service Provider. As the CEO and President, they led the company from its inception to a revenue-generating enterprise. Arnoud was responsible for attracting venture capital financing and launching innovative SMS/Voice/WEB services.

Following mAdch, Arnoud joined Agere Systems as a Senior Program Manager. Arnoud successfully managed the company's WiFi OEM Programs and was responsible for customer communication and satisfaction.

Arnoud then moved to Openwave, where they worked as a Sr Project Manager. There, they managed a $19 million 2-way/MMS messaging development and deployment project for Sprint Nextel and led a team of 50 cross-functional project team members.

After Openwave, Arnoud founded Sunnovations, which later became Aquanta Inc. As the CTO, President, and Founder, Arnoud played a crucial role in developing and commercializing a revolutionary approach to solar water heating. Aquanta Inc. focuses on addressing energy usage and inefficiencies in water heating and plumbing systems.

Here, from 1989 to 1990, they focused on Computer Science & Mathematics, developing their knowledge and skills in these fields.
