Mayra Teresa Rivas

Mayra Teresa Rivas is an experienced Education Coordinator at the Aquarium of the Bay, with a diverse background in educational roles. Previous positions include various roles at Skyline College Bookstore from December 1993 to July 2002, starting as a student employee and advancing to Short Term Employee/Junior Accounting Clerk. Mayra began a career in science communication as a Summer Explainer at the Exploratorium in 1992, returning for a second summer in 1993. Mayra holds a BA in History with a minor in Latin American Area Studies from San Francisco State University, earned between 1996 and 1999.
