Marcus Almaraz

Marcus Almaraz is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in art direction and design. Currently serving as Partner and Creative Director at MaD Creative since January 2014, Marcus has also contributed as an Education Department Volunteer at the Aquarium of the Pacific since October 2017. Previous roles include Key Art Design Instructor at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising from 2011 to 2014, and Owner and Creative Director of Underground Creative, Inc. from September 2009 to December 2013. Marcus held Senior Art Director positions at BLT & Associates and in freelance capacities from 2000 to 2013, alongside earlier roles as Art Director, Copy Writer, Illustrator, Designer, and Production Artist at Cocktails from 1997 to 2000. Educational achievements include studies at ArtCenter College of Design, El Camino College, and Otis Parsons School of Design.
