Alberto Garcia has a long and varied work history, beginning with their role as an Associate at ProcuraDigital in 2000. Alberto then moved to DiamondCluster International in 2004, and McKinsey & Company in 2006 as a Summer Associate. In 2007, they became an Associate and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. In 2011, they took on the role of Director, Strategy at Sterling Partners. In 2013, they became an Entrepreneur at Project SIFT, developing an alternative investment product. In 2014, they became the Vice President, Customer Success at Mattersight Corporation. In 2016, they moved to Citadel as a Non-compete and Business Manager (Deputy COO). Alberto currently works as the Deputy COO at Aquatic Capital Management, a position they have held since 2018.
Alberto Garcia received a BA in Economics from Michigan State University in 2000. Alberto then went on to earn their MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2007, with a focus in Economics, Finance, & Entrepreneurship. Alberto also attended Escuela Campo Alegre but did not receive a degree.
