John R Schmidt

John R Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning across several industries. John R currently works at AqueoUS Vets as a Purchasing/Sourcing Manager. Prior to this, they worked at Wizard Manufacturing LLC as a Supply Chain Manager from August 2021 to February 2023.

From March 2018 to September 2021, John was the Regional Director, Employer Engagement for Advanced Manufacturing at Shasta College. In this role, they collaborated with industry and education to enhance advanced manufacturing curriculum in the Far North region of California.

Before that, John served as a Materials Manager at Trimble from November 2015 to January 2018. John R managed the Materials organization, improving planning and procurement accuracy resulting in a significant reduction in purchase orders and late PO lines.

From September 2009 to September 2015, John worked at Lenovo (formerly IBM) as a Demand/Supply Planner/Analyst. John R developed unified IBM demand forecasts and implemented a cross-brand demand planning process.

John also held positions at Blade Network Technologies, Millipore, and Agile Software, where they worked as an NPI Program Manager, Materials Manager, and Project Manager respectively.

In addition to their professional experience, John has also worked in roles such as a Project Manager at Kennett Home Builders and a Real Estate Sales Agent at The Kennett Group.

John R Schmidt obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from San Jose State University in 1991. Additionally, they completed certifications such as a Certificate in Lean Manufacturing Certification Program from the University of Tennessee in 2002, APICS CPIM from the American Production Inventory Control Society in 1993, and the Business of Craft Brewing program from Portland State University’s Center for Executive and Professional Education (CEPE) in September 2016.
