Jesse Dye

Jesse Dye has over 12 years of work experience in the field of information technology. Jesse worked as a Senior Security Engineer for Aquia, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Cloud Infrastructure Architect at Amazon Web Services from November 2021 to April 2023. Jesse worked for American Electric Power for four years, including as a Cloud Systems Engineer Sr. from September 2019 to October 2021. Jesse was also a System Support Engineer at Suddenlink Communications from April 2015 to May 2017 and an MIS at the Washington County Department of Job and Family Services from July 2012 to April 2015. Jesse was an Information Technology Specialist contractor at Ohio University from November 2010 to June 2012 and an IT Technician contractor for various companies, including Computer Solutions and Chase Banking, from 2009 to 2010.

Jesse Dye attended Washington State Community College from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Business in Computer Support Specialist. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Franklin University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Jesse obtained their A+ Certification from CompTIA in May of 2008 and their Net+ certification from the same institution in August of 2010. Jesse also has several Amazon Web Services (AWS) certifications that they obtained in 2021 and 2022, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate. Additionally, Jesse earned the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification in December 2021 and the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification in July of 2022.
