Yuki Shirato

Yuki Shirato serves as the Managing Director at Techstars, collaborating with the inaugural class of startups in Tokyo 2024. As the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Braid Technologies, Yuki oversees operations, finance, legal affairs, and business development for a deeptech startup in Shibuya. Additionally, Yuki founded Yakumi, an angel investment platform that has collectively invested in approximately 50 global startups. Yuki also acts as an Advisor and Founding Member at Aquila Systems Corporation, a Legal Advisor at Maison ROCOCO Corporation, and mentors with multiple organizations, including 500 Global and Founder Institute. Yuki's educational background includes a JD from the University of Toronto, MBA/JD programs from Duke University and the University of British Columbia, and a B.A. in International Law, Economics, and Politics from The University of Tokyo.
