Sarah Martin

Sarah Martin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and health services. Currently serving as Senior Advisor Iwi and Community Engagement at Otago Regional Council since December 2023, Sarah's previous roles include Careers Advisor at Ara Institute of Canterbury, Pou Whakatere at Southern District Health Board, and Tumuaki at Arai Te Uru Kokiri Training Centre. Additionally, Sarah has worked as Kaiawhina (Tauira Maori) at Otago Polytechnic and as a Probation Officer at the Department of Corrections in New Zealand. With a solid foundation in mental health as a former Mental Health Case Manager at Southern District Health Board, Sarah holds a Graduate Diploma in Career Practice and a Bachelor's degree in Social Services from Otago Polytechnic.
