Benjamin Sun

Benjamin Sun is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Vice President at Ara Partners since November 2023. Prior to this role, Benjamin held positions as Vice President and Senior Associate at The Energy & Minerals Group from July 2020 to October 2023. Benjamin's experience includes a tenure as an Investment Banking Associate at Evercore between 2018 and 2020, as well as a Summer Associate role at Evercore in 2017. Earlier career experience includes finance-related roles at Axip Energy Services, LP, EDP Renewables, Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., and Deloitte. Benjamin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Texas McCombs School of Business, attained in 2018, and dual degrees in Masters in Professional Accounting and Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting from the same institution, completed in 2010. Additional training includes attendance at the Investment Banking Institute in 2011.
