Ferrass Alsayed Ahmad has extensive work experience in the field of audit and financial management. Ferrass is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Financial and Treasury Audit at Arab Bank, where they ensure that audit assignments are completed in line with Internal Audit policies and plans. Previously, they worked as a Senior Audit Manager at PKF AlBassam&Co., managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the delivery of agreed services within specified time and quality. Before that, Ferrass worked as an Audit Director at Sulaiman Alkhalaf Audit Firm. Additionally, they have held various roles at EY, including Senior Manager, Audit Manager, Audit Assistant Manager, Audit Executive, Senior Auditor, and Engagement Auditor. Ferrass also gained experience as an Auditor at Grant Thornton International- Aldar Audit Bureau, where they led or assisted in developing engagement approaches and conducted statutory audits. Ferrass started their career as an Internal Audit Intern at Wayne State University in 2008.
Ferrass Alsayed Ahmad obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from Wayne State University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Sciences and Accounting from Jami'at Al-Yarmouk, completed in 2007. In terms of certifications, they became a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) in 2022, obtained EY Analytics - Data science, Data visualization, and Robotic process automation - Bronze certifications from EY in 2019, obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from AICPA-CIMA joint venture in 2014, and obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from NH Board of Accountancy in 2013.
