Hussam Khattab

Hussam Khattab has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hussam Khattab, began their career at Space Data Systems - Jordan (SDS) as a Technical Support professional from February 2005 to February 2006. Subsequently, they joined the Housing Bank in March 2007 as an Information Systems Auditor, where they worked until October 2010.

In October 2010, Khattab joined Arab Bank as an IT Audit Assistant Manager, a role they held until April 2014. Hussam Khattab, then progressed to the position of IT Audit Manager at Arab Bank, where they worked from May 2014 to July 2019. Following this, they became the IT Audit Senior Manager at Arab Bank, serving from August 2019 to November 2021. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President - Head of IT Audit at Arab Bank from November 2021 onwards.

Additionally, Khattab has been actively involved with the ISACA Amman Chapter since November 2018. Hussam Khattab, served as the Founding President until November 2021 and currently holds the position of Immediate Past President.

Throughout their career, Khattab has achieved several certifications including an MBA, PGDDB, CISA, CGEIT, CDPSE, CIPM, PMP, and COBIT.

Hussam Khattab has a diverse education history. In 2002 to 2007, they studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Jordan and obtained a degree with a GPA of 3.3. In 2009 to 2010, they pursued an MBA with a concentration in management at the German Jordanian University. More recently, in 2021, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Business from Columbia Business School and a course on Digital Transformation: Platform Strategies for Success at MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2022, they participated in the Executive Leadership Development Program at the American University of Beirut. Hussam Khattab also holds various certifications including CISA, CGEIT, CDPSE, CIPM, PMP, and COBIT. These certifications cover areas such as information systems audit, governance of enterprise IT, project management, privacy management, and IT security.
