Ismael Castro

Ismael Castro is an experienced professional currently serving as Contract Compliance Manager and Government Affairs Manager at Athens Services since August 2022. Prior to this role, Ismael worked at the LAC+USC Medical Center Foundation from November 2018 to October 2022 as a Project Manager, where support was provided for the five-year federal initiative to reduce HIV transmissions in LA County and leadership was demonstrated in the Community Health Worker Outreach Initiative aimed at increasing COVID-19 education and vaccination rates. Earlier, Ismael was a Community Organizer at The Wall-Las Memorias Project, focusing on community outreach and policy engagement in Metro Los Angeles while co-chairing a health prevention workgroup. Ismael holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and has studied at Università Bocconi.
