Abdulaziz Al-Hamdan has a extensive work experience in the energy industry, primarily with Saudi Aramco and its subsidiaries. Abdulaziz began their career in 2000 as an Environmental Engineer at Saudi Aramco. Abdulaziz then held various roles within the company, including Operations Forman, Process Engineer, and Project Coordinator at the Ju'aymah Gas Plant. In 2005, they were transferred to the Project Unit where they provided assistance and coordination for upcoming projects. In 2010, they became a part of the Chemical Marketing team, working towards establishing Saudi Aramco's new chemical business organization. Afterwards, they held leadership positions in different departments, including Manufacturing, Planning and Economics Supervisor, Project Engineers Group Leader, and Vice President at Aramco Chemicals Company. From 2012 to 2015, Al-Hamdan worked for Aramco Asia in various business development and management roles. In 2015, they joined Aramco Trading as a Liquid Chemicals Trading Manager, before transitioning to Head of Aramco/Sabic Chemicals Commercial Integration at Aramco in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Trading Growth & Development at Aramco Trading since 2021.
Abdulaziz Al-Hamdan's education history includes various degrees and programs. In 1983, they attended Manarat Al-Riyadh schools but did not obtain a degree.
