XPLM is seeking a Sales Manager to join our exceptional team! 

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure sales goals are met by evaluating current business, leveraging data analysis, identifying new sales opportunities and developing and executing action plans.
  • Work directly with customers or together with partners at the interfaces in the PLM process to generate and process engineering data across system boundaries to create an integrated PLM process.
  • Understand and advise customers on common product development steps using appropriate interfaces in all common PLM systems, especially in Siemens Teamcenter and PTC Windchill.
  • Stay up to date with technological and customer trends in the PLM market.
  • Focus on selling integration products in different product engineering system landscapes and certain PLM systems.
  • Take action from marketing qualified leads, incoming requests from customers or partners or own active market research.
  • Own and manage the sales process from initially qualified lead through deal close and contract negotiation.
  • Identify new business opportunities, evaluating prospects, researching their business and product engineering processes to generate new business.
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations and product and service demonstrations.
  • Work collaboratively with the partner management team to generate new business out from the reseller activities.
  • Work within a sales team with pre-sales and service team to demonstrate technical solution and implementation proposal.
  • Track sales process and manage opportunities in CRM.
  • Develop a weekly revenue forecast in coordination with sales leadership team.
  • Working hybrid in Viernheim or Dresden and remotely.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 3 years of PLM experience in sales and/or consulting.
  • Experience in selling software through complex deal cylces.
  • Experience with Siemens PLM or PTC or their partner ecosystem.
  • Completed studies in industrial engineering, (business) informatics, electrical engineering, sales engineer or similar field of study.
  • Very good communication skills (in German and English), confident and business fluent appearance, as well as an analytical and conceptual approach.
  • Willingness to travel.
