Alemayehu Kassahun is an accomplished Associate Researcher at the Collaborative Research and Training Center for Neglected Tropical Diseases of Arba Minch University, contributing to the design, execution, and analysis of research projects focused on Neglected Tropical Diseases since November 2017. Previously, Alemayehu served as the Health Department Head for the Gofa Zone Health Department, leading initiatives across multiple health offices from February 2019 to March 2020. At Arba Minch College of Health Sciences, Alemayehu held multiple positions including Vice Dean for Research and Community Service, where responsibilities involved overseeing research initiatives and fostering collaborations from January 2010 to October 2017. Early in the career, Alemayehu coordinated the Out Patient Department case team at Shele Health Center. Alemayehu's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master's in General Public Health, both from Arba Minch University.
