Ephrem Getahun

Ephrem Getahun is an Associate Professor at Arba Minch University since July 2008, also previously serving as an Assistant Professor and specializing as a Geological Engineer. Ephrem holds a PhD in Engineering Geology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, obtained between 2015 and 2019. Prior to academia, Ephrem worked as a Hydrogeologist and Geologist Expert at the Gamo Goffa zone Water Resource and Energy Development Office from September 2007 to September 2008. Additional qualifications include an MSc in Geological Engineering from Mekelle University and an IGSH Training Certificate in Groundwater and Urbanization from Hokkaido University and Ruhr University Bochum in 2015.
