Ibrahim al'Abri

Ibrahim Al'Abri is a scientist specializing in protein engineering, currently working at Arbor Biotechnologies since May 2023 and serving as a consultant at HyveGeo since December 2023. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at North Carolina State University from January 2018 to April 2023, where research focused on probiotics, directed evolution, and microbiome colonization factors under the guidance of Dr. Nathan Crook. Additional positions held include Technology Lead for the Nucleate Activator Program and undergraduate research assistant at Penn State University, where studies concentrated on mass transfer in pseudomorphic mineral replacement reactions. Ibrahim holds a PhD and a Master's in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
