Rick Straits, SHRM, PHR, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Ability Matters Ohio since November 2023 and has been the Talent Acquisition Manager at ARC Industries since June 2022. With extensive experience in human resources, Rick has held pivotal roles such as Human Resources Manager at Broadband Expense & Kanaan Communications and Manager of Human Resources at Epiphany Management Group, where responsibilities included developing efficient HR functions for growing organizations. Previous positions include Professional Development/HR Manager at Aveda Institute Columbus and Director of Human Resources at Creative Foundations and various Hyatt properties, where Rick oversaw HR operations and implemented strategies that significantly improved employee satisfaction and organizational growth. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management from The Ohio State University.
