Emily Kinnaman

Research Associate II at Arc Institute

Emily Kinnaman is a Research Associate II at Arc Institute since May 2022, focusing on a project utilizing CRISPR screens to investigate Alzheimer's disease through stem cell-derived models. Previously, Emily served as a Life Science Technician at Stanford University School of Medicine and held various research assistant positions at the University of California, Berkeley, where contributions included organizing digital archives in the Department of Classics and studying ant colony recognition mechanisms in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management. Emily also gained archaeological experience as an Undergraduate Summer Fellow in Greece and provided community support as a Resident Assistant at UC Berkeley Residential Life. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2021.
