Robert Efford serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Arc of Hilo, Hawai'i County, since July 2021, focusing on enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities through innovative programs, including the Career Exploration initiative launched in fall 2021. Prior to this role, Robert was the Chief Executive Officer at Embassy Family of Companies, where support was provided to over 3,000 individuals across residential and employment services from February 2016 to June 2021. As Vice President at The Mentor Network from June 2008 to December 2015, oversight was provided for operations across four states, serving over 6,000 individuals. Robert's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Supported Employment at Villa Esperanza Services and as a Creative Executive at The Walt Disney Company. Educationally, Robert holds a BA in Honors English and Communications from Pepperdine University, completed graduate studies in Rehabilitation Leadership at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and is pursuing a Master's degree in Human Services with a focus on Executive Leadership at Liberty University.
