Ian Hathaway

Ian Hathaway is an experienced Completion Engineer currently employed at ARC Resources Ltd. since October 2021. Previously, Ian held positions at Weatherford as a Completion Field Specialist and at Ovintiv, where responsibilities included designing and executing plug and perf completions and managing coil string assets. Ian's extensive experience spans roles at Encana Corporation, including Well Intervention and Abandonment Engineer, Completion Sourcing Engineer, and Production Engineer, where a focus was placed on managing daily production and executing well interventions and abandonments. Ian began the career in the industry with positions at Encana as a Reservoir Engineering Student and a Summer Student Field Operator, along with earlier roles at High Arctic Energy Services and BGES - Big Guns Energy Services Inc. Ian earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta.
