Emre Kazdagli

Emre Kazdagli has a diverse and extensive work experience. Emre is currently working as a Founding Principal Engineer at Arc Technologies since October 2021. Prior to that, they were at LinkedIn for three years, starting in January 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer and then progressing to a Staff Software Engineer role. In this capacity, they took on various responsibilities, including being a tech lead and an IC (individual contributor) engineer. Notable achievements during their time at LinkedIn include significant improvements in hiring outcomes and screener question coverage through innovative machine learning algorithms.

Before joining LinkedIn, Emre co-founded ScoreBeyond in August 2013 and served as the CTO until January 2018 when the company was acquired by LinkedIn. ScoreBeyond provided data-driven SAT & ACT prep and assessment tools.

In 2012, Emre co-founded Stringer Labs, where they designed and implemented a social network with enhanced features such as spatial and temporal information propagation models. The network, called Stringer, used machine learning to curate and personalize large sets of information for individual users in real-time.

Emre also gained experience through internships at Microsoft in 2011 and Aselsan in 2009. At Aselsan, they worked as a Systems Design Engineer on the 112 Emergency System Project. Emre was involved in the development of the Turkish equivalent of the 911 emergency system.

Their earliest work experience was as a Co-Founder of Core Internet Technologies, a software company founded by former members of a white hat hacker group. Emre was with the company from January 2007 to August 2009.
