Emily Nielson is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing and implementing software solutions for various organizations, including Arc XP and The Washington Post since July 2019. Previously, Emily worked as a Software Developer at Comcast and Noblis, contributing to application performance monitoring and network monitoring applications, as well as leading teams in developing Flask and Django applications. With a solid foundation in web-based application development from a tenure at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Emily has utilized technologies such as Python, JavaScript, and Angular, while also holding degrees in Biology and Engineering Management from Virginia Tech and The George Washington University, respectively.
