Richard Lister

Richard Lister has a diverse background in the field of technology and infrastructure. Richard has experience working as a Director of DevOps and Principal Engineer at Arcadia, where they were responsible for building startup infrastructure and designing distributed services using AWS and Kubernetes. Prior to this, Richard worked as an Enterprise Architect at First Data Corporation, focusing on post-acquisition integration and expansion of ecommerce software within a financial services company. Richard implemented a primarily serverless AWS architecture and utilized various AWS services such as ECS Fargate, Lambda, and DynamoDB. Richard also served as the Director of Developer Operations at Spree Commerce, where they built AWS infrastructure for an ecommerce startup and evolved their application through different backends and application configurations. Additionally, Richard worked as a Devops Architect at Brewster Inc, where they established end-to-end cloud infrastructure for a startup, and as a Principal System Administrator at AOL, overseeing integration of acquisitions and new tech stacks. Richard also held positions as a Senior System Administrator/Research Assistant at Georgetown University Medical Center, where they conducted research and built Linux Beowulf cluster, and as a System Administrator at Aston University, providing support for neural network research and teaching computational methods.
