Vihang Patil

Vihang Patil has worked in various roles in the software engineering field since 2005. Vihang began their career at Wipro Technologies as a Software Development Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer, consulting for Ericsson AB in Stockholm, Sweden and Ericsson Telecomunicazioni S. p. A in Rome, Italy. In 2010, they joined Cognizant Technology Solutions as an Associate Software Engineer, consulting for Nokia Siemens Networks in Gurgaon/Bangalore/Chennai, India. From 2011-2016, they worked at Seamless Distribution Systems AB as a Software Architect, Technical Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. In 2008, they were a Software Consultant for Ericsson. In 2020, they joined Forkbeard Technologies AS as a Software Architect, developing an Event-Driven System running in a multi-cloud setup for Proximity Monitoring, Social Distancing, and Contact Tracing. Currently, they are the Head of Engineering and Software Architect at Arcane Crypto.

Vihang Patil obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai between 2001 and 2005. Vihang also holds several certifications, including Simply Online Norwegian A1-A2 from Lingu AS (August 2021), 50 hours social studies online from Lingu AS (January 2021), Learning Kubernetes from LinkedIn and Lynda.com (June 2018), Gradle for Java Developers from LinkedIn and Lynda.com (November 2017), Kotlin for Java Developers from LinkedIn and Lynda.com (November 2017), Codility Golden Award for Palladium 2020 from Codility (February 2020), Codility Golden Award for the Digital Gold Challenge 2018 from Codility (September 2018), and Codility Golden Award for Scandium 2016 from Codility (April 2016).
