Jacob Pappoe

Jacob Pappoe has a diverse work experience in the field of auditing and finance. Jacob started their career in 2008 as an Assistant Finance Manager at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Jacob then progressed to become a Manager in Accounting, Audit, and Compliance at the same company in 2011. In 2012, they took on the role of Regional Financial Reporting and Control Manager at APM Terminals. From 2015 to 2017, Jacob worked as an Internal Audit Manager, focusing on Global Regulatory Compliance at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Jacob then moved to the Government of New Brunswick, where they served as a Senior Auditor in Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Quality Assurance from 2017 to 2020. Lastly, they worked as a Performance Auditor at the Auditor General of New Brunswick from 2020 to 2022. Jacob is currently working as a Principal Auditor in Global Assurance (IA & SOx) at ArcelorMittal Mines et Infrastructure Canada.

Jacob Pappoe has obtained several certifications and degrees throughout their education. Jacob has a degree in Chartered Certified Accountant from ACCA, a degree in Chartered Professional Accountant from CPA Canada, a certification in Certified Internal Auditor from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors, a certification in Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional - International from Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, and an MBA in Financial Services from the University of East London. Jacob also holds additional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CGA, ACCA, and CCEP-I.
