Sanjay Jain

Sanjay Jain has extensive work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Sanjay currently holds the position of Chief Procurement Officer/Vice President at ArcelorMittal Mines et Infrastructure Canada. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Procurement Services and Raw Materials at the same company.

Before joining ArcelorMittal, Sanjay Jain worked as the Chief Commercial Officer at Konkola Copper Mines plc, where they were responsible for implementing an outsourcing initiative as part of a comprehensive turnaround strategy. Sanjay was also selected by the Chairman of Vedanta Resources Plc for this role.

Sanjay Jain also has experience with Vedanta Zinc International, where they served as the Head of Project Procurement/Supply Chain/Commercial. In this role, they played a critical role in analyzing zinc expansion projects and led the commercial function for iron ore mining projects. Sanjay also successfully restructured a zinc mine opportunity and led a refinery conversion project in Namibia.

Sanjay Jain completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, which they attended from 1988 to 1993. Prior to that, they pursued their primary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1985 to 1988. Following their undergraduate studies, they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from FMS, where they studied from 1993 to 1995.
