Samar Suri

Samar Suri is an accomplished professional in the steel industry with over a decade of leadership experience. Currently serving as Head of Upstream (Expansion) Projects at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India since April 2021, Samar Suri previously held the position of Director for the Iron & Power SBU at Electrosteel Steels Limited, Vedanta, from December 2019 to April 2021. Prior roles include Executive Vice President at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. overseeing a significant expansion project in Angul, and Senior Vice President positions at Kalyani Steels Limited and Bhushan Power & Steel Limited. Samar Suri holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, completed in 1991.
