Seungjung Kim

SeungJung Kim began their work experience in 2001 as a Postdoc in the Department of Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University. They then worked as a Research Assistant at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from 2004 to 2005. In 2008, SeungJung became an Art Humanities Teaching Fellow at Columbia University, a role they held until 2011. They then became a Mellon Interdisciplinary Fellow at ISERP Columbia University, where they worked until 2013. In 2013, they joined the University of Toronto as an Assistant Professor. Finally, in 2014, SeungJung became the President of the Archaeological Institute of America, Toronto Society.

SeungJung Kim completed their Ph.D. in Astrophysics at Princeton University from 1996 to 2001. SeungJung later pursued further education at Columbia University, where they obtained an Mphil and a Ph.D. in Art History and Archaeology from 2005 to 2014.
