D. Min. Larann Wilson

Larann Wilson, D. Min. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Larann currently serves as the Director of Parish Leadership Engagement at the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City since May 2019. In this role, Larann supports and mentors pastors, principals, and ministry leaders in fulfilling the mission of the Catholic Church. Larann offers recommendations and training on resources and practices to effectively share the Good News of Jesus Christ and oversees the catechetical and pastoral aspects of the baptismal catechumenate.

Prior to this, Larann worked at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church for over a decade, starting in June 2008 and ending in May 2019. As the Steward for Children and Family Ministries, they were responsible for the development and administration of religious education and sacramental preparation programs for children. Larann focused on nurturing and supporting the faith journey of families, organizing various family and marriage enrichment activities, and planning events focused on the New Evangelization.

Before their roles in the Catholic Church, Larann worked in the corporate sector. Larann served as the Community Manager at Archstone from December 2004 to December 2005, where they created a safe and welcoming environment for residents and maximized the operating performance of a luxury apartment community. Prior to that, they worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from July 1999 to December 2004. During their time there, they held various leadership positions, including Director of Six Sigma, where they utilized analytical tools and team leadership skills to improve processes and achieve significant financial benefits. Larann also served as the Director of Reception and Director of Housekeeping, responsible for guest service, employee management, and department financial planning.

Larann's early work experience includes a role as the Director of Religious Education at St. Bridget of Ireland from January 2000 to August 2003. In this position, they oversaw the religious education program for children and developed sacramental preparation and catechist formation programs.

In the earlier years of their education, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Charter Oak State College, where they studied from 1995 to 2000.
