Patricia Montana

Patricia Montana is an experienced bilingual communications professional with a robust background in education and media relations. Currently serving as the Bilingual Communications Coordinator for the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon since December 2022, Patricia previously worked as a Bilingual Editor for OCP, where recognition was received for leading a top-rated Hispanic Catholic newspaper. Patricia's teaching experience spans several years, including roles as a Spanish Language Arts and Social Studies teacher within North Clackamas Schools and Woodburn School District, focusing on curriculum development and student literacy. Additionally, Patricia has facilitated community engagement and support for Latino families in education through various positions, including as an ESL Community Agent for Portland Public Schools. Patricia holds a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Bilingual Teaching from Portland State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from Universidad de La Sabana.
