Bassam Daham

Bassam Daham has extensive work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Bassam most recently worked as a Project Director at Archen Engineering Consultants, where they managed a major governmental complex project. Prior to that, they founded and owned their own consulting and contracting company, where they led bidding and proposals for new large-scale projects and negotiated with international companies. Bassam also worked at Emaar, The Economic City as the Director of City Engineering & Construction, overseeing the planning, development, budgeting, and execution of department projects. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Consolidated Contractors Company, including Tenant Fit Out Manager and Senior Project Engineer, where they managed large-scale construction projects both in Dubai and abroad. Bassam began their career as a Project Engineer at Al Mureiki General Contracting and as an Assistant Project Engineer at UNICEF, where they supervised the implementation of drinking water projects.

Bassam Daham earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Bassam then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College, completing their studies from 1983 to 1985. In August 1986, they obtained membership in the Order of Engineers and Architects in Lebanon. Bassam also received licensure as an engineer from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Works and Transport in May 1986. Additionally, Bassam Daham holds certifications in Coaching and Counselling for Peak Performance from Meirc Training and Consulting, Leadership from Meirc Training and Consulting, Leadership and Management from Consolidated Contractors International Company, and membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers, although the exact dates of obtaining these certifications are not specified.
