Johannes Thys

Johannes (Jo) Thys currently serves as the Vice President of Global Operations and Supply Chain for Nutrition at ADM since November 2024. Prior to this role, Johannes held various senior leadership positions at Barry Callebaut Group from November 1997 to November 2024, including President of Global Operations Strategy & Innovation, COO, and President of Asia Pacific. Johannes also served as Project Director, focusing on the 'spring' initiative to enhance customer service and held multiple roles in operations and supply chain management across different regions and divisions. Earlier experience includes a position as a Junior Software Engineer at Real Software from 1995 to October 1997. Academic qualifications consist of a Master's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven and credentials in Lean Six Sigma and Transition to General Management from the University of Amsterdam and INSEAD, respectively.
