Keith Baxter

Keith Baxter is a seasoned professional in the plumbing and heating industry with extensive experience in gas work, fishing, and oil industries. As a sole proprietor and chief engineer, Keith has been responsible for managing an entire business, maintaining and overhauling machinery on purse seiner fishing vessels, and overseeing drilling equipment on oil platforms, utilizing SAP and ISSOW systems for work control. Currently serving as the Chief Drilling Mechanic at Archer UK, Keith specializes in fault finding, troubleshooting, and repair of all types of drilling equipment while being part of the Forties maintenance team. Earlier career experience includes serving as the 2nd Engineer on the MV purse seiner Krossfjiord from 1983 to 1989. Keith's educational background includes six GSEs and four Highers from Banff Academy, focusing on subjects such as chemistry, biology, and metalwork.
