Lage Nordby

Lage Nordby is an experienced leader in the offshore drilling industry with a robust career spanning several companies. Currently serving as Vice President Global Accounts and Vice President Wireline International at Archer - the well company since March 2020, Lage previously held a self-employed role at oneahead.no from September 2019 to February 2020, focusing on managing operations organizations for offshore drilling. Prior to that, from October 2010 to August 2019, Lage acted as Vice President Operations at COSL Drilling Europe AS, overseeing multiple 6th generation offshore drilling rigs. Earlier in the career, positions at Transocean included HR Manager Norway, Rig Manager in various locations, and Performance Manager, along with operational roles in Brazil and the UK. The technical foundation was built at Schlumberger as a Staff Engineer and Engineer Trainee at Det Norske Veritas. Lage holds an MSc in Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a BSc in Offshore Engineering from Oslo and Akershus University College. Military service was completed in the Norwegian Army as a Sergeant.
