Fernanda Aline Matta de Paiva has extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Fernanda Aline currently holds the position of Principal Systems Engineer - Flight Controls at Archer, where they are involved in the design, manufacturing, and operation of fully electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. Prior to joining Archer, Fernanda worked as a Flight Controls Principal Engineer at Aerion Supersonic, where they were responsible for the development of FCS architecture and system level requirements for the AS2 aircraft. Fernanda Aline also has experience at Gulfstream Aerospace, where they served as a Flight Control Systems Technical Specialist. At Gulfstream, Fernanda was involved in various roles related to FCS systems engineering, requirements validation, and systems integration for aircraft such as the G700, G500, and G600. Before their time at Gulfstream, they worked at EMBRAER as a Product Development Engineer and Engineer, contributing to the development of aerospace products.
Fernanda Aline Matta de Paiva holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Automation and Control (Mechatronics) from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completed from 1997 to 2001. Fernanda Aline also obtained a Master of Science degree in Aeronautics Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA, completed from 2002 to 2004. Moreover, they completed their MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2009 to 2011.
