Matthew Wise

Matthew Wise has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Matthew is currently the CEO and Co-founder, as well as the Product Lead, at Archipelo since October 2019. Prior to that, they co-founded and partnered with Kryptonic in March 2019. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) at Bionic.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Matthew worked at Cisco as a Product Lead for the Cisco Cloud Technology Group from 2014 to 2017. Matthew also co-founded and served as the Executive Director of FoodStartups Nonprofit from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, they co-founded and acted as the Executive Producer of Bon Appétech Nonprofit from 2014 to 2015.

Matthew's career also includes co-founding FounderLY, a media project that shares startup founder stories from 2011 to 2015. Matthew was also the co-founder and CEO of Cosemble from 2012 to 2014. Earlier in their career, they co-founded and served as the CEO of illumobile, Inc. from 2006 to 2009. Matthew also held the position of VP Corporate Development at ThioSense, Inc. from 2003 to 2005, where they contributed to the commercialization of the company's core technology.

Matthew Wise attended UC San Diego from 2001 until 2004, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations. From 2004 to 2007, they then pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a focus on Technology & Business Law.
