Matthew Marani

Matthew Marani currently serves as the Special Sections Editor at Architectural Record, a position held since July 2023. Previously, Matthew was the Associate Director of Development at The New York Landmarks Conservancy from May 2022 to July 2023 and has held various roles at The Architect's Newspaper from December 2017 to April 2022, including Program Consultant, Program Manager, Digital Content Manager, and Editorial Intern. Additional experience includes working as an Interim Program Assistant at openhousenewyork, a Researcher at ReThink Studio, and various internships at The New York Landmarks Conservancy and Curbed. Matthew holds a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute, a Master of Science in Architectural Conservation from The University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Skidmore College.
