Michael Lefand

Michael Lefand has over 20 years of experience in the field of information security and has held various leadership roles. Michael is currently working as the Vice President of Security at Archwell starting from 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Global Security Operations at Netrix Global from 2022 to 2023, where they managed a team of Threat Analysts and oversaw the triage and remediation of daily security alerts. Before that, they served as the Director of Security Operations at BTB Security from 2019 to 2022, where they successfully managed a Security Operations Center and streamlined the RADAR service approach. Additionally, they served as the Sr. Director of Information Security & Risk Management at Freedom Mortgage from 2014 to 2019, where they managed a Security Operations Center and ensured corporate compliance with IT security regulations. Michael has also worked in various roles at Campbell Employees Federal Credit Union, Harleysville Insurance, Folksamerica Reinsurance, Infineon Technologies, and A&J Technologies, where they gained experience in network administration, security analysis, and disaster recovery planning.

Michael Lefand holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Drew University, which they earned between 1992 and 1996. Michael later pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Security from Strayer University from 2009 to 2011. In addition, Michael has obtained certifications such as the QRadar Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Sales Foundation and Technical Sales Intermediate from IBM in December 2023. Michael also holds the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in 2022 and completed the "20 Habits of Executive Leadership" course offered by LinkedIn in the same year.
