Bob Traber has worked in a variety of roles over the past five decades. Bob began their career in 1966 as a Communications Technician (E5) for the US Navy. After five years, they moved to the University of California, San Diego, where they worked as a Financial Assistant until 1976. Bob then became the General Accounting Manager for National Health Laboratories Inc. until 1980. After that, they were the Cost Accounting Manager for Ketema - Process Equipment Division until 1992. Finally, they were the Controller for Arcoa Industries Inc. until 1996, when they became the President and CEO of ArcMate.
Bob Traber began their educational journey in 1972 when they attended San Diego State University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1976. Bob also attended Heidelberg University from 1975 to 1976, studying Germanic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. In 1990, they obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants.
