Amaranto Lopes

Amaranto Lopes has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and positions. Amaranto currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Arco Educação since December 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Rappi as the Global Director of Operations from October 2018 to December 2021. Amaranto also had a significant tenure at McKinsey & Company, where they served as an Engagement Manager from March 2017 to October 2018, leading digital transformation initiatives for major banks and telecom companies across Latin America. Before their role as an Engagement Manager, they worked as an Associate at McKinsey, conducting efficiency gain initiatives for prominent banks in Brazil and across Latin America from September 2014 to March 2017. Amaranto began their career at Unilever, where they held the position of Information Technology Manager from September 2011 to August 2014, following an earlier role as an Information Technology - Management Trainee from February 2008 to August 2011.

Amaranto Lopes completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Computer Science from UFSCar - Alumni, between the years of 2002 and 2007.
